Fyfi's stormy night

The wind from last night's rain storm rattled the windows and made Fyfi very nervous. She was crouching very low on the floor, and kept running to the gate whenever she heard my mother's voice. When my mum reached over the baby gate she found Fyfi pressed up against it as if she was waiting for some comfort. So mum picked her up, and Fyfi for once stayed uncharacteristically still while mum tried to get her to relax.

Fortunately the storm passed by very quickly, so Fyfi spent the rest of the night relatively stress free.

Fyfi chilling our in the bedroom

Fyfi is usually quite skittish anytime she is out of the bathroom that serves as her home base. She will explore when we open the gate to give her outside time, but always runs back in immediately whenever there's a noise or someone walks past. Last week however, she sauntered into the bedroom where I was, and after exploring the bed, lay down on the floor beside the mattress and just chilled out. She remained there for quite a long time, even with people entering and leaving the room. Maybe she was really warm and just wanted to enjoy the air-conditioning. The nice thing is that she managed to stay still long enough for me to take a series of pics.
